I know hell must have frozen over because Sony is FINALLY releasing a Gran Turismo 5 demo…and it comes out this year! On December 17th you will be able to sign onto your PS3 and download the demo for the game that has been 5 years in the making.
Now if I still have your attention and you haven’t foamed at the mouth from this news, I have something better to add. Anyone who plays the game will be automatically entered into the “GT Academy Time Trial” contest where top 20 players from select countries will be eligible for a chance to enter the GT Academy. The academy will get those drivers in Europe ready to compete in the European GT4 Cup in a real race-spec Nissan 370Z. For those of you in the US and Canada if you win the academy you get a trip to the Indianapolis 500.
Better break out Gran Turismo 4 if you still have a PS2 or backwards capable PS3.
